I&#039;ve been a vegetarian since I was a teen so I&#039;ve had plenty of opportunities to discover a justification either by my on reflection on the issue or by people trying to persuade me that that I should eat meat like they do. The best justification I&#039;ve found is something along the lines of &quot;animals are killed in the wild all the time so what I&#039;m doing is ok&quot;. But imagine a convicted murder saying something like 
&quot;people are killed all the time by natural causes so what I did is OK&quot;.

What confuses me though is that you&#039;ve discovered a moral principle and articulated it very well in this article. Why do you stand on other moral principle (I&#039;m sure your a principled and moral person) but not on this one?</description>
